Hull Typographic Intervention
A typographic intervention developed in response to the ISTD Death of the Centre brief, reframed around the idea of hope, reconnection and renewed engagement with Hull city centre.
The project uses typography to encourage local people and visitors to look up, move through the city and reconnect with its architecture, history and cultural identity. The proposed intervention combines three physical typographic signifiers, supporting location markers, a trifold guide and mobile landing pages accessed through QR codes. Each element was designed to connect place, story and visual language while allowing the system to expand across further areas of the city.
