Wayfinding

HRI Wayfinding Project

A negotiated study project exploring how wayfinding at Hull Royal Infirmary could be made clearer, more accessible and easier to navigate.

The proposed system combines physical signage, digital directories, QR access and mobile tools within a consistent visual framework. The project focused on reducing confusion, improving access to information and supporting a wider range of users, while remaining aligned with NHS brand requirements and allowing for future development through interactive mapping, augmented reality and contextual digital support.
